The ASTERO ISR UAV system is equipped with the Nighthawk X80 camera – an EO-stabilized camera turret crafted for very long-range EO observation – and the advanced 360-degree continuous rotating infrared thermal and daylight resolution Nighthawk 2 UZ camera.

Robust and combat-proven radio systems
The ASTERO ISR UAV system includes a long-range radio system with a 45 km range to the ASTERO UAV system and a short-range radio system with a 12 km range to the ASTERO UAV system.
The handheld radio system is designed to meet the requirements of surveillance and battlefield scenarios. It combines a familiar “soldier radio” physical form factor, bulletproof construction and a simplified user interface with the ability to use standard MBITR-style battery packs, chargers and holsters.
